Kanye was rightKanye was right
In recent months, the word has been spreading slowly about the Jena 6. The ColorofChange.org has a letter you can fill out and send to Lousiana Governor Blanco and District Attorney Reed Walters. Take some time and add your name to the list of supporters to get Gov. Blanco to intervene and take a stand. You can also donate to their defense fund, buy a “Kanye was right” t-shirt, & find out more about a September 20th rally in Jena to publicly support the families, and send an email petition to your friends spreading the word even further.

It’s so sad to me to see this not getting the coverage it deserves. The librarian who said she didn’t know what a noose was for blew my whole head. I’m spreading the word as well (http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/338132/jena_6_six_black_men_face_up_to_100.html)

ITS SAID THAT WE ARE LIVING IN A SOCIETY THATS STILL RACIALLY BOUND. RATHER THEY WANT TO ADMIT IT OR NOT THEY ARE MORE PREJUDICE THAN THEY KNOW. I KNOW THEY CAN SEE NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE FAIRLY . STAND FOR WHAT IS RIGHT AND KNOW THATGOD IS WATCHING OVER THEM. I WILL SPREAD THE WORD HERE IN LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. BE BOLD AND STRONG.

kanye was not right; there are just as many ignorant blacks as there are whites; no one is better than anyone else because of skin color; we are all gods children.

i do support the jena 6 and believe that racisim is still alive. it is alive and well in black and white. i am a black female fighting not one but two minorities and i believe that what is goin on is an obvious racial issue and is unfair. and any comments that are taken offensively shouldn’t be because what happened is definite form of racism.

We’re all God’s Children. No matter what color, male nor femle, old or young. We people need to leanr how to get along and love each other. The Bible says “Love Ye one another.” If we claim we want to go to Heaven, but how we gonna go to heaven and cant get along down here on earth. See, most people don’t look at it this way, “What would jesus do in this situation? By us being humans and think we deserve revenge, we gonna do what we gotta do. So, im gonna leave it liek dat and put it in Gods hands

This is something seriously sad. My heart goes out to the young boys and their family. Racism needs to die. Theres no possible way any man can make this land their own. Its not yours or mine to keep,You can’t keep on taking what doesn’t belong to you all your life!!! How about if you were constantly told go back to Europe!! You thieves!!! You wouldn’t like it now would you? Im a latina and i support The Jena 6!

We would love to hear your comments
