A moment for GoGo

Ok – I had to do this. Listening to The Roots “Rising Up” (really loud in my car) has had me FEEEEEEENING for some Go-Go!!!! I am a DC girl, you know?!! So, thank goodness for YouTube & gogoradio. I got a lil fix to hold me down til I find my way back across the country to some hole in the wall DC club, who knows when, and FEEL this like its supposed to be felt!!

Shouts out to Chuck Brown, Junkyard band, EU, backyard band, rare essence, dj kool – and thanks to the people for sharing on youtube. I know there’s more out there so get those VHS tapes out and figure it out!!! I need some more!!
