“Back in the days, in Hip-Hop’s heyday, the words “World Premiere” coming through your speakers evoked an almost Pavlovian response. Listeners would nearly salivate in anticipation of the blessings about to be bestowed on their ears, minds and souls. The Sound of Art (SOA) captures the essence of that feeling with its latest offering, WORLD PREMIERE, at the world-famous World boutique.
On this auspicious occasion, artwork specifically created for this event by SOA’s illustrious roster of artists will be unveiled for the very first time. SOA’s visionary founder, Leopold, has tasked a talented group of artists that include M. Tony Peralta, Joe Buck and Mario Pena among others with digging deep to produce works of mind-blowing proportions but even he has purposely kept himself from viewing the results. This function will be pregnant with possibilities - revelations and treasures will abound. In addition, the proprietors of World will remove all other apparel from their racks and only showcase pieces designed by the Peralta Project and Thrust.
Steaz, the maker of fine organic, thirst quenching, sparkling green tea beverages, joins the fray as one of the official sponsors along with ZipCar which will showcase one of it’s art inspired vehicles at the event.
