Friday night is all about celebration w/ Fusicology! My Miami favorite DJ Irie + our frolaborator DJ Questlove will be in the house to bless the LA crowd w/ plenty of good vibes to get us ready for Saturday night’s Wonderfull evening!
The Abstract Poetic came thru and blessed a crowd of 75 last night for a few select cuts from his new album
“The Renaissance”. My favorite joints were a cut feat. Norah Jones called “Life is Betta” that was silky smooth on the beat and vocals & the J Dilla produced “Fever”.
He chilled and did a Q & A with folks b4 breaking out to catch a flight back to NY.
So after you vote on Nov 4th come thru Turntable Lab and pick up the album. Your going to need some good music for the victory party and this ablum will bang for that for sure.

In not so Wonderfull news… actually this is devastating. I was just googling Stevie to see what other sites had posted about the party on Saturday and I saw the headlines - Stevie Wonder’s house burned earlier this week as one of the many victims of the latest round of fires here in Southern California.
According to The New York Post, “Everything was destroyed - all of Stevie’s memorabilia, photos, musical instruments, history, clothing, furniture, everything.
“It’s all gone. It was his main residence and he is utterly devastated. Stevie’s had to put his tour and appearances on hold while he deals with this.” Wonder’s representative could not be reached for comment
