UnSung – Sundays on TV ONE
I’ve been recording this series the past few weeks and its definitely worth the hour. UnSung is a documentary series on TV One highlighting the “unsung” music legends of our past. Think VH1′s “behind the music” (typical story line: raw talent, success, drugs, egomania, rock bottom, where are they now?) for R&B/Soul’s hay day. So far I’ve seen really good episodes on DeBarge, Donny Hathaway, & Phylis Hyman and there’s one from this season still to be seen on the Clark Sisters. On their website you can vote on the groups they should feature in their season 2 so definitely go share your input! We need these types of programs to exist to tell the stories of some of our most tragically talented musicians.
Shouts out to Al.B.Sure on the voice overs!
Watch the UnSung series Sunday March 22 at 8 pm and 12 am, March 29 at 12 am, April 5 and 6th at 6 pm and 11 pm (ET).

UNDRCRWN got together with one of hip hop’s biggest artists and these days actor and television host, Mos Def, to create a capsule collection. Designed by Dustin Canalin for UNDR-CRWN, the collection mainly consists of t-shirts, as well as a few cut-and-sew pieces.
