HERE COMES THE LAUNCH OF RICKIE’S NEW CD: THE LOVE PROJECT

Frolab is super excited about working with Rickie BB preparing for the launch of her 11th album “The LOVE Project,” out May 26th. One of the first released frolaborations we’ve done with the ePistrophik Peach family, we handled the layout design & direction for her digipak, featuring cover artwork by the amazing Tokio (whose painting of Nito we finally have stretched and hanging in the lab! – thx Janay!) And if that wasn’t enough, we’ve been had the exclusive listen for a few weeks now and you should know that this is a very special kind of vibration. When Rickie’s songs get stuck in your head and you start singing to yourself lyrics like:

“Grateful for the day that brings the sunshine, grateful for the love of light that is mine…”
or
“LOVE Gives you courage, LOVE Mends your heart …” (The LOVE Song)

- you realize how (a) you NEEDED to tune into her energy and let it affect you and (b) how powerful music can be when the message is a positive one, and (c) you may start to wonder what all those bullsh#! lyrics that DO get stuck in your head have to do with your state of mind! Its fantastic – with the hypnotic production done by none other than our favorite afronista Georgia Anne Muldrow. This mother-daughter frolaboration is HEAVY. I encourage you to give it a listen. My experience with the effects of her ‘mantras’ has been more obvious in the hours and days AFTER I listen to it. It has an aftertaste of both LOVE and LIFE. But what else but positive self examination and realization do you expect from the queen who’s married to one of the main teachers cited in “The Secret!”

In celebration of her 11th studio CD, Rickie Byars Beckwith invites you to the launch celebration of “The LOVE Project” – her latest CD featuring 9 new and remixed tracks that further define the expanding vibration of today’s most revered singer-songwriter.

“The LOVE Song” is featured in the widely-acclaimed documentary, “Spiritual Liberation: Fulfilling Your Soul’s Potential;” featuring Rickie and her husband, Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith, founder and Spiritual Director of the Agape International Spiritual Center in Culver City, CA.

Produced by jazz-hop sensation, Georgia Anne Muldrow, “The Love Project” includes new tracks: “The LOVE Song;” “Grateful;” Teleprompter;” “Radiant Light of God;” and “15 Years.” Bonus tracks include a “Live” performance of “The LOVE Song” and “Grateful,” which includes a mix of performances from Rickie’s recent North American tour. Also included: “Live” performances of “Supreme Inspiration II” (the Funk Version) and “We Let It Be,” both featuring the world-famous Agape International Choir.
