via hypebeast: designed by Art Center College of Design student Nancy Wu and Nike, the Re-Mix & Re-Cut cut-and-sew experiment produced the new Gladiator Mid’s featuring a mid top laced sandal silhouette. Two colorways are now available through colette:
& keeping it sparkly and golden, there’s the Nike Women’s Air Scandal Mid Via Sneakerhead.. Kinda tasty.
But I’m still hungry! Its quite a bit sad to me, the state of the girls sneaker game, and NO not everyone wants to order IDs – plus the online options suck. One day I’ll get WMS size 11 boxes in the mail from the shoe gods with nothing but hotness. Or maybe Nike should just let ME design some! I got some ideas. (& Can you PLEASE make those purple footscape woven frees that samples were on Hypebeast like 2 years ago? but w/ all purple laces, no black. I dream of those! I need them!) Til then, I’m gonna just keep rockin the refridgerated leftovers!
Don’t underestimate the return of the Reebok Freestyle. After all, it is one of if not the first shoe to recognize ladies athletic fashion. Also, Adidas Sleeks series offer short runs of feminine Top Tens, Stan Smiths and Promodels.
