Ahmir ‘?uestlove’ Thompson fit 101 afro picks in his afro at once, a new world record – (who knew anyone was counting!). He placed all the picks in the afro himself, receiving no outside assistance.
Thompson achieved the feat on June 25, 2009 in New York City while taping a URDB segment for Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. Dan Rollman and Corey Henderson were present to document the record and count the picks.
