New Years Resolution:

*we will repost the video as soon as we can! sorry! BUT you can still listen to the song:
Since a lot of us are in that “New Years Resolution” state of mind, this is the perfect song to start your year off right! ”Make Me Stronger” by Bei Bei and guest vocalist Georgia Anne Muldrow singing the lyrics originally penned by her mother, Rickie BB. The Floating Points remix of this song was previously posted, but the version here is the original song with internationally acclaimed Gu Zheng performer Bei Bei, both available on limited edition 10” EP from Ubiquity Records. Buy it on iTunes.
Lyrics:
Make Me Stronger
This day I awoke with a passion in my heart
A feeling of longing, a thirst so strong
I want to be better, an opening for God to
Make me stronger
Make me patient when I worry
Make me calm when there is strife
Make me forgiving when I would be right
Make me forgiving
This day I awoke with a passion in my heart
A feeling of longing, a thirst so strong
I want to be better, an opening for God to
Make me stronger
Stronger to reveal more peace
I must be patient to reveal more love
I must be humble to reveal more power
Make me stronger
Make me stronger
Make me stronger
-Rickie Byars Beckwith (Georgia’s mother)

Definitely check out Strong Arm Steady’s latest release in collaboration with Madlib:
“In Search of Stoney Jackson”
Street Date: January 26, 2010
Digital album available now on stonesthrow.com:
In Search of Stoney Jackson is produced entirely by Madlib, longtime friend of Phil Da Agony and extended Strong Arm Steady family. The album’s conception owes a great deal to World Famous Beat Junkie, J.Rocc, who provided the trio with close to 200 of the Madlib the Beat Konducta’s tracks to choose from. Strong Arm Steady had previously rapped over Madlib productions on the Madlib and Talib Kweli Liberation album, but this full-length marks a long-desired collaboration between the four. It’s a hip-hop jam session, with the group acting as the rhythm section for an all-star cast of guest vocalists such as Planet Asia, Guilty Simpson, Evidence, Chase Infinite, and Phonte of Little Brother.
TRACKLISTING:
1. Best of Times (feat. Phonte)
2. Cheeba Cheeba
3. Chittlins & Pepsi (feat. Planet Asia)
4. Telegram
5. Questions (feat. Planet Asia & Fashawn)
6. Smile
7. New Love (feat. Planet Asia & Tri-State)
8. Get Started (feat. Talib Kweli)

10. Pressure (feat. Sick Jacken & Mitchy Slick)
11. True Champs (feat. Montage One, Evidence, Oh No & Roc C)

via Brainfeeder:
Merry Christmas and happy holidays to everyone
as we’re approaching this new year, I felt it was time to let go of some things that have been gathering dust. Some old things, and some new things, I tried to pick out tracks that I know yall haven’t heard yet so there should be surprises around every turn.can’t believe i’ve been making tracks for over 10 years now..That said, there’s so much to learn still.
I hope you all enjoy this mix. Thanks to the Gaslamp Killer for doing an incredible job on this.
Can’t wait for you all to hear my album ‘Cosmogramma’ coming out April 20th 2010 on Warp Records.
Enjoy
