Super shout out to Brent Rollins one of the dopeset graphic designer in the hip hop packaging game.

This is video makes me want to pre-order this release.

Check out a fresh interview on Brent Here

Fast-forward towards the middle of the video to see how intricate the album packaging gets. The “money clip” (sorta,) the bills/liner notes, the wallet that doubles as album casing, the Credit Card that lets you download the instrumentals. It’s very clever.

Damn. I’m not even a huge Freeway fan, but the tracks I’ve heard so far are pretty dope. The packaging alone has me ready to see it on the shelf. First hip-hop purchase of the new year for me? Perhaps?

I’m a fan, I’m a fan, I’m a fan.
I’ve been a admire of this man’s work for years and it’s great to put a face to the talent.
The packaging for that CD changed me life.
