She The Hard Way

This project geared to highlight female emcees is RIGHT ON TIME! Its a tough call to ask “where the ladies at?” at many hip-hop shows these days, and you can pretty much forget about it if you’re looking for them on the line-up. The development of this album + documentary “She The Hard Way” is aiming to do something about it – check out the message via frolaborator and one of our “bright lights” – female MC @stahhr:

She the Hard Way is the brain child of producer/dj Sol Messiah, composed of mcees/lyricists staHHr, Sa-roc, Boog Brown, Rita J and Khalilah Ali. Our mission is to bring balance to hip hop with a mega dose of skill, lyrics and something that is truly lacking, the FEMININE ASPECT/ENERGY. Below is a link to our promo video for funding for this endeavor. In order to keep this powerful vibration sustained and moving, we need YOU. Please share this amongst your networks, your websites, blogs, etc. and share it with your daughters, mothers, sisters, nieces… Bliss and love!

Check out the promo video and donate to help empower the movement HERE.
