Natural hair stylist Isis Brantley, who earlier this month hosted the Natural Hair Parade in Dallas sponsored in part by Erykah Badu, recently had her fro subjected to a pat down by TSA agents at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson airport.
Her amazing fro, which could give the newly crowned “World’s Largest Afro” a run for her money, has not been cut in 41 years (she makes 53 look quite lovely!) and she says the TSA agents stopped her so they could “check for weapons” and a female agent started “digging in her scalp.” Listen to her story here:
