Hailing from Italy, footwear purveyor, Casbia introduces its new 2012 spring/summer collection that pairs the essence of both contemporary aesthetics with a degree of traditional style. This goes without saying for the William Tech Mesh Combi in black. The pair applies an updated mesh upper in a black colorway, a decision that effectively revamps the William’s classic silhouette, keeping the timeless model in season. Not quick to exclude its gold foil “Casbia” stamp, branded atop the brown leather insole, the William shares other Casbia signature elements such as a white rubber outsole and leather laces.

During its “Dissertation on Introspection” exhibit at luxury department store ISETAN in Shinjuku, Tokyo, visvim will exclusively pre-release various items from its 2012 spring/summer collection, including the return of its popular GRIZZLY BOOT MID-FOLK. In an installation where the contemporary fashion label showcases a shift towards traditional Japanese construction methods, these moc-toed boots featuring a durable blend of natural premium leather, hand-sewn Italian canvas, and a Vibram sole will be available at “The Stage” located on the first floor of the main building. The exhibit will run from April 11 to 17 so we certainly recommend arriving early before the pre-collection sells out.
