The king of vinyl toys has done it again with this ode to Jordan figure. A must have for the Frolab collection.
Here’s some info about the artist and project from crazytoyz-0709
So once we get the OHGFRO figure done we can take to the court for a lil one-on-one.

So I was running around SF today and I took some reading material with me. I like to keep abreast of what’s happening in the world of entertainment, so I read Wizard magazine. As I was reading I came across some very surprising info about Soul Calibur IV! It’s coming to XBox 360 and PS3 consoles this summer. In addition to being a dope game there areusually a few surprise characters out there, this year, they’re a force to recon with. On the XBox 360 added they have, Yoda!
To take it off the Rictor, on the PS3 they’ve add Darth Vader!
If you’re a Soul Calibur fan like myself this is so what you’ve always wanted! Next year,
FRO CALIBUR!!!!

We spent our Sunday recovering from the Wonder-full party and checking out a few more spots that were on our list.
First up, Harputs Market & the Brooklyn Circus Pop up shop…

Next we went next door to see Harputs in real life after only checking out their webpage for the last few years as the best place to step your adidas footwork game up.

Next stop was Fatlace only a few blocks away.My man Mark is in Portland working for Nike so Zion held down the fort! Zion could probably sell the whole store by herself! She’s quite a saleslady!

Final stop, next door at Super 7. A very nicely designed toy store w/ lots of fresh tshirts and prints. Be sure to check out the area next time you’re in San Fran!

Had a blast Thursday night at Munky King on melrose with the staff and many more folks who stopped by to check native LA artist duo Tweeiqm.
His work is amazing. The show was a collection of work they have done in the past year for a slew of clients including Nike,Marvel and this events sponger MT.Dew. Here some history about this couple journey in art.
Native Los Angeles artists miQ & THUY3 willmOtt return to their hometown, and homebase, Munky King, to share the first year in the life of their new Portland, Oregon based design bizz, TWEEQiM.
In the short 365 moons since the birth of TWEEQiM, they have developed strong creative relationships with many high profile clients, such as Nike, Marvel, Upper Deck, Pepsi Cola, Hot Wheels and many more.
This event not only sheds light on works that have not been seen publicly, but also offers up limited edition pieces of art for sale, as well as premieres/sneaks of things in development.
To top it all off, TWEEQiM’s limited edition “Dew Lords of the Deep†(for Mountain Dew) aluminum bottles will be on hand, as a complimentary give away item for all of those in attendance. The bottles were created for Dew’s “Green Label Art†promotion, and are covered in a graphic version of this flyer’s cover art. These collector aluminum bottles are limited edition, and will only be available at this event.

FROLAB will be in the house reppin the Fro like only we know!
We wil be showcasing in CA … All Day!! for our first and defintly not last
Art Toy convention. Here is an taste of whats to come from our folks jac over at Vinylpulse.com
July in San Diego is no longer just about SDCC. There’s a new show in town dedicated to art toys and urban culture — The Urban Underground Project organized by the Vinyl Toy Network (VTN). UUP will be held concurrently during SDCC from 2 to 8 PM on both Friday July 27 and Saturday July 28th @ The Factory in downtown San Diego. Building on the strength and community of its first two shows held in the greater Los Angeles area, VTN is offering the UUP as an alternative to the massive end-all, be all pop culture behemoth that is SDCC. UUP will cater to the vinyl community specifically by offering artist signings, exclusives and plentiful booth space at affordable rates to toy companies, retailers, and artists. A special shuttle will be available to whisk collectors from the SDCC to UUP and back (every 30 minutes or so). Vinyl Pulse is proud to be an official media sponsor of the VTN UUP. Stay with us as we bring you the 411 on exclusive releases from artists and vendors over the next week or so.
