What up Frolaborators, It’s been a while since SF had anything posted, busy!
With helping set the Brooklyn Circus store up, since the pop-up shop is done.
I had a lot on the plate, mm.. food! I finally had a day to myself and to express.
Just having aged one more year thanks to June 12, I got a few late presents,
BIG shout the VS for the love. This is really one of the shoes I was looking forward to.
Then to my surprise, Thanks again VS, another belated B-Day gift! The Classic Terminators!
This package reminds that the Nike sports wear site launches soon, 8/8/08, check it out!

I recently gave my feet a treat that was sorely need when Dam Funk landed in
SF. The guys from 4OneFunktion put on a tight show too, along with DJ Jay 1.
The Elbo room was packed with bodies in motion, somehow I managed a few
pics of Dam and Co.

As some of you may know the Brooklyn Circus has a pop-up shop
in SF. They’ve recently set up a collaborative party with another shop,
Acrimony, in Hayes valley. I had to be in the place to be and the party

was dope! Of course I took a few frotos?! Check it.

With Paid dues being canceled last weekend people were missing out on some of their favorite acts. Luckily Mos Def came to the rescue with Zion-I and rocked it at Ruby Skye, here are a few Afro-pics.
Stop by the flickr page for more photos!

Sunday’s “Jam” day at UCLA was a lil less jam packed than it was last year for Jill & Lupe, but still a nice turnout. The lovely Goapele blessed the crowd with her crystal clear vocals and her most popular set, including Closer, My First Love and a lil remix version of Find A Way:
The Roots show was ok - I don’t know if I can even count anymore how many times we’ve seen them but this was definitely a ‘college’ show - so I guess if we (and the other 10,000 people who bought the album) wanna see them do new album cuts, we gotta go see them w/ Miss Badu. Captain Kirk did do one of his amazing guitar solos and got all extra rock’n'roll with it:
nice. Today (Monday) is Reggae day - you’ll probably be able to smell the show from the Sunset blvd!! Enjoy!!
