Sorry for the down time the last few days. & THANK YOU to those that contacted us looking for their fix! Lets us know that somebody’s watchin - and in this case, that’s a good thing!! We had to update our site’s feng-shui and now.. we’re back! Bear with us if you find any glitches in the matrix!

Grammy weekend started off with some very nice events around town.
The NikeID store opening/Air Force 1 25th anniversary party with Atl’s Greg Street and Brooklyn’s Clark Kent providing the sounds. The new store is dope and the custom basketball court is very shiny. We’ll be back soon for our ID appoinment. More Nike store opening pix here.
Then we stopped by The Lodge for a low key get together with the likes of Dallas Austin, Jermaine Dupree, Babyface, Jazzy Pha, P. Diddy, Tara Ried (random?) and some more folks.
Final stop of the night was the PNB store with Nick Cannon and friends. Best sighting of the night? MC Hammer. More PNB pix here.

Will + Wyclef rock the mic.
We checked out the Black Eyed Peas benefit show last night at the Avalon in Hollywood. The show raised money to enable inner city kids to cultivate their musical talents so it was all for a good cause. Mary J Blige, Eve, Dr. Dre, MC Hammer, Tyrese, Wyclef, Herbie Hancock, Sergio Mendes, Common, Macy Gray, John Legend, Chrisette Michele, Rich Boy, and even our LA Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa were all in the house to celebrate and also honor Jimmy Iovine for his contribution to the Peas’ and many others’ industry success.

The launch at the standard hotel was dope. The i love dust wall and the arts and crafts style munny customizing areas were right on time. Peanut Butter Wolf spinning DVDs was crazy - all old school hip hop in your ear and eyes. The fact that they sold out of 500 Hello My Name Is Huck Gee Munnies at 50 bucks a pop with folks buying as many as 4 or 5 is nuts. The 20″ customs were fresh. We thank Huck for signing ours at the end of the night so we didn’t have to stand in that long ass line. All around, a night (and $50 - check ebay!) well spent.

Happy New Year everyone. We have transitioned to the other side. West side that is! We had a very nice frolaborative goodbye with friends in ATL for new years and now its all about making the most of this 07 in the hills and valleys of Los Angeles.
